Dev Anand, for me it is the synonym of Indian Cinema. I never saw Indian Cinema without him. he was always there with his films, his thoughts and with his persona. The man who never listened to anybody. He made film to fulfill his desires and kept making them, till his last breath.

For me Dev Anand, is a magician who did most different things in Indian Cinema than any other could.
He will always with us, with his movies.

Happy Children's Day.

Today is 14 November, the Birth anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. People of India celebrate it as Children's Day , as Jawaharlal Nehru liked the kids very much.
Schools organize different activities on this day, some organize sports meets, some organize fates and fairs and some schools organize drawings and art competition. In over all, this day is totally dedicated to children and their activities.
Google also did its part at this occasion. Google's doodle with Sitaar, Tabla, Shenaai and other musical instruments is there on Google India page on this Children's Day. The doodle is created by Varsha Gupta of Class III of Ryan International School, Greater Noida.

In my school time, I also enjoyed the day.

Cricket Updates: India Beat West Indies in Delhi Test Match.

India Beat West Indies in Delhi Test Match.
Indian Teams once again proved that why they are one of the top teams of the world. Team India beat West Indian team by 5 wickets are Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi. Indian Team out shined West Indies team in all departments, like bowling, batting and fielding.
Sachin Tendulkar once again played a great match winning inning and made a winning path for Indian Team. VVS Laxman also did well and scored a decent total.
Overall it was a good match. Yes, Little Master Sachin Tendulkar once again was not able to score super century but no worry I am sure the day is coming soon.
The positives, that have come out from the game are Pragyan Ojha, R Ashwin and Umesh Yadav. Three of them performed really well. I wish them a great career ahead.

Cricket: Delhi Test, R Ashwin made it easy for India.

Indian Cricket team has bowled out, West Indian Team on 180 runs. West Indies managed to take their lead to 275 runs, which could be hard to chase for Indian Cricket Team.
The day was not good for West Indies team as most of their wickets fell during first session of the day. Indian bowlers; especially fast bowlers did very good today and took some very important wickets early on. Everything was looking in control for India, till Shiv Narain Chandrapaul came in. He played really well for his team and kept one end of the wicket intact. Wickets were falling on the other hand but Chandrapaul was hitting boundaries from his end. He got Darren Sammy as a great partner and they both took their team to a good level.
Indian Spinners once again did great job, Especially Ravichandran Ashwin. He took 6 important wickets and helped India to tied West Indies under 200.
Now, this is the time for batsman to do something good and win this Delhi Test Match for India. I am not hoping Sachin Tendulkar to hit 100th century. But hope Virendra Sehwag to show some fire works as I am missing that.

Cricket: Hard test for team India at Delhi.

After the debacle of Monday when 17 wickets fell, Indian Cricket team is once again ready to take on West Indies batsmen.
This is going to be a test for Team India, as West Indian Team is looking to increase the lead, and if they manage to score more than 250+ than it will become very hard for Indian cricket Team to score at this feroz Shah Kotla pitch.
Delhi Test match has become real test for Indian Bowlers and batsmen, as they have not impressed as they should have. Players like, Ishant Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and VVS Laxman struggled in last two days.
I hope this day bring some cheer for team India.

Bigg Boss House: Swami Agnivesh to go inside but why?

So, my Monday evening brought the news of Bigg Boss Season 5 is going to have some Babagiri in Big house. The Tuesday morning newspaper says that Swami Agnivesh will be there for two days. I am still puzzled why is he going there?
Bigg Boss house has a history to have people with controversy around. There were many controvercial people came at this show. But there is other side, people who have gone to some exile and wanted back in limelight also were invited by Bigg Boss.
I think Swami Agnivesh has both the reason. After confrontation with the Team of Anna Hazare or should I say, Team Anna, he was in controversy and become low profile. But in this time of showbizz how he can live low profile.
If he enters in Bigg Boss house, he once again will be in lime light but I have different issue once again (What a confused mind can have?) the condition and atmosphere at bigg boss house is not good for any saint or swami. People are aggressive and abusive at there. He claimed that he will sensitize the girls are Bigg Boss house and try make them socially responsible.  It seems like a joke, when you see some notorious girls inside the house.
I wish, Baba ji great luck and hope nobody in the house abuse him.

Cricket: Sachin Tendulkar down with burden or bad time?

So, Sachin Tendulkar once again, got out without making any big score. Most people in the world were expecting him to cross the milestone of 100th Century but he failed once again.
I don't understand how a master is not performing according to his merit. 7-8, is not a score of Sachin Tendulkar, The Little master, who have score 99 centuries.
May be I am wrong but sometimes I feel that is it pressure of Media and public expectations that are proving a burden on his shoulders. I think we should leave him, and let him play his natural game and should creat any hype before he makes a century.
He is Little Master and he knows how to do that.

Bigg Boss: Big drama is on as Mandeep out.

I once again have got the Bigg Boss on my radar. This time for my favorite Bigg Boss contestant Mandy or I should say Mandeep.  The bigg boss is an amazing game, you can not expect who is going to be evicted this week but one thing is sure, people who are not bitching and are not fighting are not going to live for a long in this show. People evict them from the bogg boss' house. Are they people or this show does it? Can't say.
The popularity of the show is not good enough in this season, as the host of the show is Salman Khan is not appearing most of the time and the 2nd judge doesn't look comfortable.
But I am looking forward for some more drama in the show.

Cricket Mania: India is ready to take on West Indies

After beating English Cricket Team, Team India is all set to face West Indian cricket players.
The West Indian team is coming to India, without their stormy batsmen Chris Gayle. The team is looking nice but the absence of Chris Gayle, will definitely hurt them. Especially wt the time when I has performed really well on Indian soil during last edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) and latest CLT20 tournament organized in India. Gayle is an asset for any team, but I don't know why, West Indian Board is not taking him on board.
But this is going to benefit on Indian Cricket team. The morale of the team must be high, after beating English team.
The test cricket is such a delight to watch, especially when you have enough time to follow it. And when the Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman are batting, you can't resist to watch the game.
I hope to get best of Test Cricket this time.

Happy Diwali to all who live their lives for others.

So, the festival season is on and this time it is going to cross the month as well because we are going to get two back to back festivals, Yes, it is Diwali and Eid ul Zuha.
Diwali 2011 is coming first so, we must talk about it first. The markets are full of gifts and dresses. I saw many people talking about the high prices of things but the buying spree and offers list in the market, is not showing any big difference this time. People are buying as much as they can.
Diwali has special reunion for many people. As most people love to be with their parents or relatives on the Diwali. People design their homes with great and lovely Rangoli designs. People send their Diwali wishes in the form of Diwali greetings and Diwali gifts.
Diwali has its great significance in people's life. I am not going to write about its historical reasons, but about the people. There are so many people I know, who doesn't have much in their pockets and homes, but they also want to celebrate. People with big pockets and huge money spend a lot of money on some lavish things, costly gifts, costly lighting but people with small pocket, spend the time with family, light earthen lamps and make their children smile with sweets of local sweet shop, not so costly dress and sometimes without dress.
I want to wish, this Diwali to all those parents who live their life for their kids, who work hard day and night earn little money and spend it on their children, buy dresses for them and wearing old and torn dresses.

Ra.One to Release but SRK is down.

As we all know the release date of much awaited movie of Shah Rukh Khan is near but the super star is not ready to sit down and wait for the result. He is just promoting his film as a new comer does, tirelessly. The last tweet tells tha story, how he is feeling right now. I know he is smart enough to hide his pain but I also know that he is able to tell the truth and walk smiling.
How the promotion of Ra.One is going, is sometimes make me feel sick, but when I think about the people who are associated with the project and waiting to get fruits out it, then I realise the importance if promotion.
But does SRK really need to tell the world that he movie is going to release? No, never specially in the time of so much of media hype. But he is doing and how. He oen of the best seller of India.

Cricket: India Cricket Team is Onnnn

When India-England cricket Series started, I was thing about a tough fight between the two. I also was expecting hard time for Indian cricket team as they were going to face a team which beat them by a bi margin 5-0 in England. But what we are seeing these days, is a turn around.
But Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Team India is playing is really well. The performance of new players is far from better. They are playing their innings of life time in the absence of Sachin Tendulkar and Virendra Sehwag.This the is opportunity for them to cement their place in Indian Cricket Team.
The way Indian Cricket team is playing, I am sure it is giving bad signals to many teams, who have to face Team India in near future. Hope this performance continue and India win this series by 5-0.

England Tours India: The fight is on.

So, the England Cricket team is in India. Both the teams are ready to face each other, in a day night match tomorrow at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium Hyderabad. But is this going to be normal match? I doubt. After losing in England, Indian cricket teams are ready and want to fight fire with fire. 

Gautam Gambhir is back in the side and it seems that India has become a bit strong with few new entrants are also going to play. I am also keen to see Abhimanyu Mithun playing. But the English cricket team also is not weak. They have most of their players, who helped to beat India in England.

The dates are fixed but some statements are also going in the air. As, some English Players are announcing that they have a better team and can beat India, on the other hand Former Team India Captain, Rahul Dravid is also confident about the team. But what I am expecting from the point of view of a cricket lover is good match. A good play can make everyone happy.

Farewell to an Ideal : RIP Steve, your Jobs will always remind us about you.

Steve was an emotional moment for me as my ideal of modern times, has left the earth. The man who was behind many success stories of the Apple has gone for a greater journey. I admired Steve jobs since I started learning about the shares and company, then I find that there are many whose worth mostly depends upon the people who run it from the front, without them most companies have no worth or a little worth. The apple has many great people with it, but the place Steve jobs had, I don't think there would be anyone to fill that place.
I salute and pay my tribute to his soul and pray God to give peace to his soul.
RIP Steve, your Jobs will always remind us about you.

Silver Prices in India Tumbles 6%: Good News or Bad News?

Today, when I turned my Radio on, the 1st sound I heard was of news reader and she read that Silver prices tumbled by 6% and it was one of the biggest intra day loss of this commodity in recent pass. But the tone of the reader was not pleased enough, I thought she must had invested some of her money in Silver as well. The thing I am still confused to understand that should feel happy on it or sad.
Yes, I never invested in that commodity or in any, but there are so many people who have invested huge part of their savings, thinking Silver or Gold as safe investment tools. They are at loss today, So I must feel sad for them.
But their is another part of the story, as we are going to enter in festive season in India and jewellery is must part of shopping of any festival, then we have marriage season also, so jewellery for bride is also essential. The parents of bride or people who want to buy silver must be happy after this news as most must have reached stores to buy some silver as well. So, I think I should feel happy for them.
but this is also true that, "Somebody's loss is somebody's gain". So, the people who are at loss today, are helping others to gain something.
